Inspired by Piet Mondrian

Do you know why Mondrian is an inspiration?

This Dutch artist broke with all the schemes imposed by his father, who wanted him to be a teacher, to dedicate himself completely to art.

He lived in Paris, London and New York and went through great difficulties. His works were imitated and trivialized and although they may seem simple, they became an object of study.

And you, do you break the schemes imposed by society?

Piece inspired by the work "Apples, ginger pot and plate on a ledge" by Piet Mondrian.

Realistic and bright, these objects are located in space with an artificial order that perfectly explains what each material is made of, the touch that each texture has, where the light comes from ... We could look for symbolism for those 5 apples, or that Upright plate, or that empty jar, but honestly, I doubt that this is relevant. This little watercolor is almost an experiment.

Piece inspired by the work "Composition III Red, Yellow and Blue" by Piet Mondrian.

Why these three colors: Red, Yellow and Blue? These colors are basic so that combining them you can create any other color in the rainbow: green, purple, orange, and all the other shades in between. Creating these three basic colors is impossible because they are individual colors, that is why they are called primary colors. In this work the squares containing these colors are full of energy.
